These drawings are from an unfinished literary fantasy epic, ILYTH, that I hope to go back to one day. I have always been captivated by medieval decorated manuscripts. The art tantalizes the reader to deeper interpretations that arise from the subconsious. Meaning shifts, alters, deepens as underlying themes play across the page. The art also provides relief from row upon row of text, and the opportunity to enjoy the simple, uncomplicated pleasure of turning the page and coming upon a picture.
